Military Hippie was created with a true desire to spread love and peace in this world. Building a brand that people would love. As we have grown tremendously over the last 2 years, I personally wanted to finally tell the story of how we really started Military Hippie, hoping that I can help other women realize there is hope in times of despair.
At the age of 43, after recovering from a very rare form of cancer, I realized I wanted to fulfill my dream of becoming a mother and making my husband a father which has been his dream his entire life. Knowing this would be no easy task, still having many health challenges, as well as my age was not in my corner. My husband and I tried for 5 years doing everything imaginable hoping our dream would come true. Countless IVF tries and endless disappointments. During those last 2 years, to keep my mind off of all these disappointments, I devoted all my time into my other passion which was fashion and helping other women. This really seemed to help keep my mind busy. Waking up every morning at 4am to work with vendors, creating legging designs and building a brand that we can truly be proud of. It has not been an easy journey, growing tremendously quickly had many challenges. My team has worked endlessly to make sure that 2018 will be our best year yet!
In the last couple years, at age of 47 we realized we needed additional help or our dream would not happen for us. We finally came to the conclusion that a surrogate would be the answer for us. After 2 years of going through this process, our bundles of joy arrived. Two baby miracle boys! Titan Joseph Fox IV and Ryder Storm Fox IV. We could not be more happy and proud. We never gave up, we prayed to god every day, we tried to help as many people as possible during our journey.
We hope this message will resonate with others to know not to give up, and that we all deserve for our dreams to come true. And even through hardships, we can still overcome the impossible. People have shown us love and compassion through this journey and we have made it a mission to do the same for others. That is one of the reasons we picked our Women In Distress Charity to be our main focus that we donate to. We really want to empower women to live their dreams. This is something that is personal and dear to my heart.
